Volunteer with QA

Quidditch Australia is run entirely by volunteers – including our Board of Directors!

We’re always on the look out for more people to join our team and ensure we give our members a fantastic Quidditch experience.

No matter what your skill set, you have something to contribute! All you need is a bit of spare time and a passion for the sport! Send expressions of interest or any questions to admin@quidditch.org.au

At the moment, we have two particular volunteer roles we would like to fill:

Writing/Editing Assistant

Looking at QA Today and angry that it doesn’t feature enough news from your neck of the woods? Don’t worry if you’re not a MECO student or have never written anything before: if you’ve got a flair for writing, or just have great ideas on what would make for an entertaining story, then we’d love to have you aboard!

Point of Contact: Cameron Caccamo (media@quidditch.org.au)

Expected workload: 1-2 hours weekly

How to apply: Send an expression of interest to admin@quidditch.org.au as soon as possible. You may include a CV and cover letter (max three pages) outlining any experience or ideas you have, and may include supporting documentation (such as pieces you’ve written in the past).

Governance Assistant

QA is embarking on a bold plan of rewriting and restructuring our Constitution and other Governing Documents, to make sure we’re running as efficiently as possible. You don’t need a law degree or an MBA; you just need an idea of how you want Quidditch to be run and a bit of spare time to put that into words!

Expected workload: 1-2 hours weekly
