SYDNEY ALL-STARS FANTASY QUIDDITCH TOURNAMENT

Quidditch players in NSW have been talking about a Sydney fantasy tournament (or lack thereof) for a long time, so Team Australia chaser Corey Ingold-Dawes has taken it upon himself to organise it; Sydney’s first fantasy quidditch tournament.

Not only does the tournament quench NSW players’ insatiable thirst for a fantasy tournament, but its timing also serves to bridge the glaring 2 month absence of matches between NSW Triwizard Tournament and QUAFL, the national championships.

Sydney Fantasy is a 2 day tournament consisting of 5 fantasy teams, with two captains selecting registrants via a simple snake draft. Day 1 will consist of pool play, while Day 2 will play out a seeded double elimination finals system, where any team that loses a finals match will be given a shot at redemption.

Player fee is $20 and includes lunch on both days, and players need to be registered members of the Australian Quidditch Association.
