What is the Quidditch World Cup?

The 2016 IQA Quidditch World Cup is where the best quidditch players from around the world went head to head for ultimate glory, which took place on the 23rd and 24th of July in Frankfurt, Germany. The Australian Dropbears took out the gold medal, competing at the highest level of quidditch competition in the world. Twenty one countries from across the globe competed for national pride, more than the previous two international tournaments combined, in what was a thrilling and intense competition.

Who are the Dropbears?

Twenty one Australian quidditch players were selected from the best and brightest to represent down under and chase down that elusive gold. They were an elite squad of athletes from Victoria, New South Wales, The Australian Capital Territory and Western Australia lead by a fearsome captain/coach duo. Nine of the twenty one players are returned for another turn and sought to better their silver medals from last time, and were all are out for blood.
